top three travel destinations

i want to visit to many places in the world. The following destinations are on the top of my list:

1. seoul, south korea: i want to travel to seoul because i am fascinated with the asian beauty and cosmetic industry. while south korea is not the epicity of asian cosmetics, it certainly is obsessed enough with beauty, make up, and skincare for it to rank on my top visits. :-P

seoul is the capital and the largest city in south korea. it holds a population of over ten million (wikipedia). seoul has a history of over 600 years and is the heart of korea's culture and education. upon my visit, i want to visit myeong-dong, its famous shopping district. Myeong-dong is a massive shopping district. Myeong-dong Street is around 1km long and extends from Myeong-dong Subway Station (Seoul Subway Line No. 4) to Lotte Department Store at Euljiro (visitkorea.or.kr).

2. taipei, taiwan: i want to visit taipei because of its diverse asian culture. i love the way it has been able to create its own identity that blends chinese heritage with diverse groups from the islands of the pacific ocean. there are those who will object to the progress the country has seen in the last thirty years but there is no denying that taiwan has become a major industrial power in the east. also, taipei is the de facto capital of the republic of china (ROC) and has a population of over two and half million people (wikipedia).

3. provence region, france: since learning the french language as a seventh grader, i have always wanted to travel to france. it was not until i was an adult that i learned of exactly where i wanted to visit: provence region. this piece of heaven is located in southeastern france along the mediterranean. it holds reminisce of the romans and is sprinkled with the beauty of local cuisine, lavender, and wine.

travels

i love to travel. however, i am not at the point in my life where i could travel as often and as far as i'd like. most of my travel experiences have been in the states and a little bit in the u.k. and southeast asia. i have so much to go in terms of traveling; i have been to only 1% of the world!
